This was a very foggy trip up around Tomales Point to Dillon Beach:

McClures Beach to Elephant Rock

Then months later I returned to this forboding beach to go on an expidition to photograph Elephant Rock:

Here are some pictures of rough surf around the point just south of the beach itself:


Just round this point, is a calm cove with a mild beach that I would have launched from if the waves at the beach had been rougher.

I took a series of pictures of Elephant Rock from almost every angle as I paddled around it. Which pictures do you see the elephant in?
